In the 23rd Psalm, David starts by remarking that God was everything to him, and he lacked nothing.

This brings to memory the song, "To me he's become everything." by Donna Carline,
with link given later on. 

She sings, 
"Some had made Jesus a game that they play, 
to other’s a song that they sing, 
but since I met Jesus I’m happy to say 
to me he’s become everything. 

He’s my future my past the first and the last, 
to me he’s become everything."

Jesus is everything you need being:

RESTORATION: He is the God of restoration. (Psalms 23:2).

COMFORT: He comforts us in disappointment. (Psalms 23:4).

GENTLENESS: He is gentle when we feel like an angry mess. (Isaiah 40:11).

STRENGTH: He is strength when frustration threatens to overwhelm you. (Psalm 28:7).

GRACE: He disarms our best defenses with His persistent grace. (John 1:14).

LOVE: He confronts our human pride with His perfect love. (Ephesians 3:19).

HEALING: He heals our bodies of disease & stress. (Exodus 15:26).

HOPE: He floods hopeless situations with His Hope. (Romans 5:5) 

GRACE: He gives us the Grace to be like Him. (1 Corinthians 3:10).

JOY: Overcome your challenges with His joy. (Nehemiah 8:10, Psalm 28:7).

Do not worship God when times are good only. 

Do no quit him or serving and ministering because of challenging times. 

Worship him always through thick and thin, in storms and in good weather.

God is Faithful. God is trustworthy. God is always in control. 

RECOMMENDED ACTION

When you worship God as a good God even when your circumstances aren’t, you bring glory to Him. 

Your perspective will be corrected. 

His peace will flood your heart. 

His presence lets you know that He is with you.
